Welcome to Divver #349 A.F.M.

Divver Lodge #349 A.F.M. Divver #349 A.F.M. is a Masonic lodge located in Anderson, South Carolina, and it is under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina .

Our goal for this site is three-fold: To provide general information about Freemasonry, to provide specific information about the Divver Lodge, and to provide a resoruce for local degree work in the region. We hope you find this site informative and useful!

Divver Degree Work

Saturday, August 9

An Entered Apprentice degree will be conferred at Divver Lodge in Anderson. Degree work begins at 7:00am with breakfast at the break. (Note that this is a morning degree.)

Wednesday, July 16

  • MM Degree at Prosperity Lodge. Our Most Worshipful Grand Master and his party will be in attendance. The meeting will begin with Dinner at 6:30pm and the Degree work will be conferred after dinner at 7:30pm. Maybe we can persuade our Grand Master to help confer part of the Degree work.

Thursday , July 17

  • MM Degree at Mountain Springs Lodge starting with Dinner at 6:30pm and followed by the Degree work at 7:30pm.
  • FC Degree at Cooper Lodge in Travelers Rest starting at 7:30pm.
  • EA Degree at Hiram Lodge. Dinner will be at 6:30pm and the Degree work will be at 7:30pm.
  • MM Degree at Independent Lodge. The Grand Master of Masons in SC and his party will be attending. The Meeting  will begin with Supper at 6:30pm and the Degree work will start afterwards.

  • FC Degree at Pelham Lodge starting at 6:30pm

Tuesday, July 22

  • Cancelled   The EA Degree at Pendleton Lodge has been Cancelled.
  • FC Degree at Bailey Lodge beginning at 6:30pm.
  • MM Degree at Sam Poe Lodge starting at 6:30pm.

Saturday, July 26

  • FC Degree at Taylors Lodge beginning at 8:30AM
  • MM Degree at Monaghan Lodge. Breakfast will be served at 8:00AM and followed by the Degree at 9:00AM

Monday, July 28

  • FC Degree at Simpsonville Lodge. Supper at 6:30pm. Ritual Work at 7:30pm.

Thursday, July 31

  • FC Degree at Hiram Lodge on the square in Anderson. They will eat at 6:30pm and start the Degree at 7:30pm

Saturday, August 9

  • EA Degree at Divver Lodge beginning with the Degree work at 7:00AM in the morning. Breakfast will be served at the Break.
  • The 16th Masonic District Inspirational Meeting will be held at the Pickens County Shrine Club. Dinner will begin at 6:00pm followed by the meeting. The speaker will be Most Worshipful Brother Jack A Marler, Past Grand Master of Masons in SC.

Thursday, August 21

  • MM Degree at Hermon Lodge in Starr, SC. They will eat dinner at 6:30pm and start the Degree work at 7:30pm

Saturday, August 23

  • The 14th Masonic District Inspirational Meeting will be held at the Ruff Lodge Fellowship Hall beginning with Dinner at 6:00pm. The speaker will be Rev. Mark Spearman who will be presenting a slide show and speaking about his trip to the Holy Land which was sponsored by the Anderson York Rite Bodies.
September, 2008

Friday, September 19

  • The 18th District will be holding their annual Rock Quarry Degree at Sycamore Point starting at 6:00pm. More information will follow.
October, 2008

Saturday, October 4

  • The 15th Masonic District Inspirational Meeting will be held at the Seneca Lodge Fellowship Hall. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. The speaker will be Jay Adam Pearson, Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of SC.

Saturday, October 11.

  • Hiram Lodge will hold their Ladies Night Banquet at the Anderson Elk's Club. This will begin at 7:00pm and Tickets will be $15.00 per person.

Saturday, October 18

  • Liberty Lodge will have their annual BBQ Fund Raise from 10:00AM until 1:30pm. They will be selling BBQ plates for $7.00 which will consist of BBQ Chicken, baked beans, slaw, rolls and tea. Plates may be picked up at the former Southern Vinyl Siding Building on US 178 near the Rail Road.
